INITIATION SYSTEMS
Available in various models to suit all site conditions
Developed with our technical leadership and know-how, Hanwha initiation systems feature precise millisecond delay timing, excellent safety and an easy-to-use advantage, and are readily available in various models to suit all site conditions.
Initiation Products
HiTRONIC II
ELECTRONIC DETONATOR
HiTRONIC II electronic detonators are programmable from 0ms to 50,000ms in 1ms intervals, so the system can deliver a range of timing/blasting options with high accuracy and precision.
HiTRONIC II electronic detonators should be used with Blaster, Logger and Planner units specific to HEBS-II, which integrate three types of operating modes: Scanning, Logging and Tagging. The HEBS-II System is Inherently safe with multiple built-in redundancies and safety mechanisms.
HiNEL Plus MS Series
MILLI-SECOND NON-ELECTRIC DETONATOR
HiNEL Plus® MS (Milli-Second) Series are non-electric detonators used in both open pit and underground mines with delay time of 25ms (Milli-second) increments.
The extremely accurate and various delay time system of HiNEL Plus® MS Series detonators allow users to minimize blasting vibration and can improve fragmentation.
HiNEL Plus LP Series
LONG PERIOD NON-ELECTRIC DETONATOR
HiNEL Plus® LP (Long Period) Series are a high strength non-electric detonator with Long Period (LP) delay intervals of between 100 and 500 milliseconds. The accurate delay time system of HiNEL Plus® LP Series detonators have been specifically developed for underground tunneling and shaft sinking.
HiNEL Plus DHD
DOWN HOLE DELAY DETONATOR
HiNEL Plus® DHD (Down Hole Delay) Series are non-electric detonators developed specifically for surface mines with enhanced delay time accuracy.
With a plastic J-hook connector providing a secure and rapid means of attaching shock tubing to the detonating cord, it is color coded and stamped with the firing time.
HiNEL Plus SDD
SURFACE DELAY DETONATOR
HiNEL Plus® SDD (Surface Delay Detonator) Series are non-electric detonators used as the connection detonators in both open pit and underground mines.
HiNEL Plus® SDD Series detonators can provide various delay times (0, 17, 25, 42, 67, 109 and 176) to realize a wide range of initiation sequences.
HiNEL Plus TwinDET
COMBINATION OF SDD AND DHD
HiNEL® Plus TwinDET is a non-electric detonator assembly consisting of a combination of a surface delay connection detonator(SDD) and a down hole delay detonator(DHD) with a consistent and accurate delay time.
HiNEL Plus Starter
NON-ELECTRIC STARTER
HiNEL Plus® Starter is a non-electric detonator produced by Hanwha that is used to start a blast in both open pit and underground applications. HiNEL Plus® Starter detonators have a zero (0ms) delay time and can initiate up to six shock tubes at the same time. It can also be extended to provide a greater separation from the blasting area.
HiNEL Plus Shocktube
SHOCKTUBE
HiNEL Plus® is the brand name of the non-electric detonators produced by Hanwha. Shock tube that has low energy and low detonation velocity as a flame transmitting device is used in manufacturing HiNEL Plus®.
HiCORD
DETONATING CORD
HiCORD is a detonating cord used for detonating initiation systems and cap sensitive explosives or quarrying high quality stones for construction and landscape gardening purposes. HiCORD can be used in such places where the legwire of electric detonators could be cut by shock waves or where it is difficult to use electric detonators because of static electricity, leakage current, high voltage cable, and radio frequency.
HiDETO Plus
ELECTRIC DETONATOR
HiDETO Plus is the brand name of the electric detonator produced by Hanwha. It is widely used both in the open pit and underground mines using either MS(Milli-Second) products of 200ms delay differentials or LP(Long Period) products of 100~500ms delay time differentials. The very accurate and various delay time systems minimize blasting vibration and maximize blast fragmentation. Color codes of legwires and metal tubes enable easy identification.
